I raised an eyebrow at him again. He definitely had some interesting topics—better than my attempts at small talk.

Moments that aren’t important to others, but they’re important to us.” Wow—that’s quite the thought to ponder. “Then there are people like those idiots,” he said, nodding down the street we were crossing. We were crossing past the street Ashton lived on. He and some friends were in the road throwing the football back and forth. Thankfully, they didn’t seem to see us pass by to the next street.
